How to Delete Apps
To make room on your calculator for a new app, you may have to delete other apps that you are not using.
If your calculator is a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, then you can probably just delete some apps that are in foreign languages. For example, you may have Apps called StCrdDeu, StCrdEsp, and StCrdFra. These are just German, Spanish, and French versions of the StudyCrd app. If you don’t speak those languages, then you will never want to use those apps.
To delete apps from your calculator:
- Press 2nd-MEM.
- Choose “2:Mem Mgmt/Del…”
- Choose “A:Apps…”
- Using the arrow keys, move to an app that you do not want to use.
- Press DEL to delete the app. Your calculator will ask, “Are You Sure?”
- Choose “2:Yes.”
- If you need to free up more memory still, then go back to step 4.
If you delete an app that came with your calculator, and later you change your mind, then you can download that app from the Texas Instruments website.
